Smartphones these days can do almost anything. One can bet that a state of the art phone is going to cost a pretty penny. For those with limited funds they might have trouble finding a passable phone. But the Samsung SGH-A177 has just been released. Its an affordable phone with an amazing full QWERTY keyboard allowing for easy messaging.

The Samsung SGH-A177 has a simple design. Those tired of over the top models and outrageous colors might see the simplicity as a welcome change. Others who are used to the Swiss army knife nature of most phones today might be put off by it. The phone is a simple rectangular phone, with no flip or slide mechanism. There are 2 design flaws found on this phone that might sway people away. Firstly the plastic the phone is made out of simply doesn’t feel strong enough to withstand constant use. If you plan on purchasing this phone should also get a pouch or some kind of case. Also the screen is rather small. Despite the bright color display photos and games are going to appear slightly pixilated and muted. The best feature on this phone is obviously the full QWERTY keyboard. The keyboard was designed to make texting and sending long messages in instant message windows easy. They keys are slightly raised and there is a very satisfying click noise whenever you press a button.

This phone clearly lacks any of the features found on many of the heavy weight phones out there. The phone does come with a camera, instant message capabilities, and even Bluetooth. For some people this is all that they might need. The IM function and Bluetooth work well but the images captured on the camera are mediocre at best. Along with not being able to record any video the camera seems like an afterthought.

Despite the amazing text functions the actual phone performance can be improved upon. This phone has major volume issues. When using the speakerphone the person on the other end will sound incredibly low. Raising the volume wont help because they will just sound distorted and garbled. You should also place all your calls in a low noise area. The microphone will pick up a lot of background noise making you harder to hear and understand.

The Samsung SGH-A177 clearly is not a phone for everyone. If you wont miss watching videos, and surfing the web then consider buying this phone. But be cautious because the phones call performance is not that great.

If you want to get the Samsung Eternity A867 Plus on November 4, 2008, you’re out of luck; AT&T had decided that it couldn’t deliver on that date as it had promised. However, as soon as the shipment gets here, it is promised that the Samsung Eternity A867 Plus will be on sale.

If you want to purchase this amazing little handset for its features, this wait will be worth it and it won’t dissapoint. Let’s take a look at some of the offerings:

The new handset will soon be available for purchase on the AT&T carrier. It will cost $99 but that is after you receive a $50 mail-in rebate. This cell phone is able to be customized with specially designed widgets. The Samsung Eternity has a large 3.2″ touch screen that has haptic support and this phone provides subtle vibration that confirms selections. The only drawback to the Samsung Eternity is that it features a black and chrome exterior. The only trouble with black is that it will show all the smudges.

The AT&T carrier will also be able to get the handset. It’ll cost you $99 after a $50 mail-in rebate, meaning your upfront cost (before rebate) is going to be $149. You can customize your cell phone with widgets that are specially designed for it. The handset has a 3.2-inch wide touchscreen, with haptic support. You’ll get a subtle vibration that will confirm your selections as well. It does have one slight drawback, in that the chrome and black exterior will show smudges and fingerprints.

The phone has a nice, clean look at first glance. The back cover is actually made of plastic although it feels like brushed metal. It is a bit disappointing that the camera lacks a portrait mirror or flash. The 3.5mm headphone jack located on the side does make it clear it is intended for music.

Touch Wiz UI feature The Samsung Eternity A867 Plus also has a great feature, the Touch Wiz UI. It doesn’t have many widgets at present, but Samsung will be releasing more of them in the fall, reports say. One of the easiest to access is the “sound profile” widget, which has a calculator and a profiles widget that goes with Bluetooth. The menu for Bluetooth is very easy to use. The regular menu contains Address Book, AT&T GPS, Messaging, My Stuff, and YellowPages, among other things.

Messaging and keyboarding You can use most messaging services, including AIM, Yahoo!, MMS, SMS, IM, and MSN. The nice, roomy keyboard has the T9 feature, but it’s not very accurate. It does have a regular number pad on the phone or handwriting recognition and you can also taxed with it.

Is the Samsung Eternity A867 Plus worth the money? It’s most definitely for you if you want full touch technology, sleek and stylish sophistication, and the latest entertainment options. You can get immediate access to the Internet, true, but you can also get the latest in entertainment, and you’ll likely like the top 3G/HSDPA device. The phone has a full touch QWERTY keyboard, and an on-board accelerometer. It also has vibration responsiveness with a 3.2-inch display that gives you crisp clarity and makes Internet surfing almost as much fun as doing it on a full-sized computer — all in something that you can just slip into your pocket. Chances are, if you try the Samsung Eternity A867 Plus, you’ll like it.

Who would ever have dreamed that one day there would be pink cell phones? But nonetheless they are here and seem to have settled in nicely. Who thought of pink cell phones and where did the first one come from?

Unfortunately no one seems to know exactly where they came from - they just appeared a few years earlier. We do not know who made the first one and you would think by now surely someone would have come forward to claim the fame and fortune for this popular phone.

Pink mobile phones may originally have been developed for young girls. This was certainly the case for pink laptops, so it is a logical conclusion to make, that the same is probably true for the pink mobile. Whether this is true or not is almost irrelevant today, but what is relevant is that pink mobiles are in great demand. Picking the appearance and color of your mobile is just as important as picking the model, in fact to some people it may even be the prime consideration. So much so that all of the manufacturers have now jumped on the bandwagon and are offering quality pink mobiles.

The arrival of the pink cell phone was thought to be just a passing fancy however, no one knew just how much they would catch on and become the next most popular color with black being the number one.

Of course it’s not just young girls who but pink mobiles. Whether it’s just the little girl inside the woman coming out to play, or whether it’s just making a fun fashion statement, women of all ages, from pre-teens to elderly ladies are buying them in their droves.

However it’s not just women who are buying them. Reportedly, many thousands are sold to men. This is not just the so called “pink” gay brigade, but also normal hetro guys who are buying them for their girlfriends.

Taking a glance back at the beginning of the laptops that were pink, they were not highly advanced and neither were the cell phones that were pink. The first cell phone may have been just a case however, it is not a case today. The demand is extremely high and this holds true for more than just cell phones. The world is going pink and SIM free cell phones are available so that one does not have to stay with one provider. With pink cell phones having all the bells and whistles - cameras, VOIP and videos - the best phone is what you should be looking to find. The sites are numerous so all you have to do is look to find the best setup.

Pink has become the color and there is no argument that it will be around for a long time. The demand for the phone has taken us by storm. It is a fact in today’s world. Most people use cell phones and have left their landline phones at the curb. Because of all this, people are looking online for cell phone numbers like never before. Most people use their cellular phone in place of their landline, and have often done away with the landline all together.

It has not taken long for the average consumer to be winged off of their landline. You can now call anywhere in the country for one low price typically and not have to worry about having huge phone bills come in the mail. Typically with cell phones, you can call anywhere in the country as it was a local call.

Think the person you are seeing gave you their real number? Want to see if their phone is in someone else’s name? Want to check and see who called your beloved at three in the morning? Expecting a call from an employer? You can do all of this with a reverse cell phone number lookup. If you are looking for prepaid phone information though, you may be out of luck, you generally will not find any information on those.

It is quite aggravating to miss a call or not know who is calling your number. Are you expecting a phone call from a hot date? Or maybe an important job interview? It would be hard to tell who the call is coming from simply by your cell phone. A reverse cell phone lookup could be just what you are looking for, as long as the number you are looking for is not a prepaid cell phone. Those are much harder to find out who they belong to, but can be done, but most likely with the help of law enforcement.

Yes, reverse phone lookup even works for those prank calls you sometimes get or even the hangups. There are many websites online that will provide you the information once you enter a cellular phone number. Most of the time you will need to pay for this detailed information. If you need the information of a cell phone number quickly, a reverse lookup online may just do the trick. It is usually an inexpensive way to find out what you are looking for quickly.
